Israel’s War against Iran for Jewish Supremacy in the Middle East is now underway with no end in sight. Iran’s closure of the Straits of Hormuz is causing global oil markets to brace for a spike in oil prices. Brent crude is expected to rise above $100 per barrel due to a “war premium” priced in by traders, even before physical shortages occur.
On February 28, 2026, U.S. and Israeli forces struck nine Iranian cities. Targets included IRGC headquarters, missile silos, and leadership bunkers. Battle damage assessments confirm the deaths (or assassinations) of at least 40 high-ranking officials dead. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei died in a precision strike on his Tehran compound. President Pezeshkian survived the strikes.
Iran responded swiftly, launching over 200 missiles toward U.S. bases in Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Partial airport closures followed in those locations. To date, no mass casualties have been reported on either side, but the violence is escalating.
Though the U.S. military is quite capable of turning most of Iran’s critical infrastructure into rubble it is doubtful that U.S. Forces have sufficient missiles, and munitions to sustain a long campaign with a wider set of objectives. However, without a strong ground force (whether proxy or U.S.) present inside the targeted country the use of air and missile strikes alone is unlikely to change the regime in Tehran.
