War without Strategy is War without End

They tried to bomb Iran into submission and the plan failed. Now what?

President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu planned to bomb Iran into submission to Israel’s demands. The plan failed.

The failure was evident on 8 March when Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt described the President’s refusal to rule out a draft to swell the ranks of the U.S. Army to fight in Iran. In her words:

“It’s not part of the current plan right now… but the president… wisely keeps his options on the table.”

Now Trump needs a new plan with a strategy designed to rescue Washington from ignominious retreat, and Israel from destruction. The Netanyahu solution adopted by the President has guaranteed the end of his presidency, and possibly the long-term survival of Israel. Trump was foolish to accept Netanyahu’s solution as a strategy and is crazy to believe that following the target list of an air-missile plan can lead to a stable Middle East.
